Having worked in marketing for over 15 years in both b2b and consumer media, as well as a five year stint at a city law firm, I’ve had plenty of digital and offline marketing experience. 

In essence, marketing is simply getting the right message in front of the right person at the right time.   It’s not rocket science but it is a mixture of common sense, creativity, some solid analytical thinking and a sprinkling of innovation! And that’s where I come in.

One of the questions I always get asked when I meet new clients is how I came up with the name for Little Red Marketing.  It's actually the nickname for my daughter.  Being on maternity leave is what inspired me to switch to contracting - I wanted greater flexibility and to be able to better balance work and family time.  It also brought me into contact with so many talented parents whose desire to better accommodate working and parenting inspired them to start their own businesses. 

Often we would get chatting about how they could market their new business, or where they should start with social media, or even if I could help them get a logo designed, and it made me realise there was a need for an agency like Little Red Marketing that could help with these issues, whilst fully understanding that sometimes marketing needs to be fitted in around the school run!
